Here we go again!

Hey all! I know that the blog has been literal dead over the past few months, but I have a reason for that. Well let's get into it then, I started the blog with the simple intention of letting people know what I see, use and love!
To my surprise, the blog even became quite the hit. Ever since my first post on Baby Driver, I have never looked back. However, I bailed on it right when it was growing at a staggering rate. I stopped posting on the blog and its popularity plummeted.
Now I will have to roll my sleeves up and start again. I know I have messed it up and chances are that the blog will never reach its glory days. I guess I will have to try to figure it out, so I had to stop blogging because life really took a sharp turn on me.
When I began blogging I was doing my A'Levels. Once I was done with it I had to move on to a University and what a move it turned out to be! Unlike A'Levels I actually had to wake up 6 AM in the morning to attend class. Frequent tests and quiz kept me busy and if that was not enough. I also got a real job! All these kept me busy to the extent, where I now wish for a 48 hour day!
This new rush in my life has done plenty of good for me. I injected discipline into my life. I now go to bed on time and get real sleep. I game less and explore the real world. I get to meet with a ton of people. Something that was alien to me. If that was not enough, my job allows me to further indulge in the world of gadgets, as I now have plenty of money to spend.
Okay, so long story short, I am now back. By back I mean I will be posting on the blog again. Not as frequently as before, but there will be posts coming say once or twice a month. So to any reader that remains of this blog. Stay tuned, The Geekman is back! (Hopefully.)

Take updates into your own hand !

Windows 10 has the feature of automatically updating your device in such a way that you will not even notice when the update occurred. However, there are times when this seamless feature gets annoying when it seamlessly updates during a game or when you are doing a presentation! Causing reboots or data being lost during the game. What if there was a way to stop those random reboots? Well, there is if you are running Windows 10 Pro or higher. How to prevent automatic updates using the Local Group Policy Editor : If you run Windows 10 Professional, you can use the Local Group Policy Editor to quickly change the settings to prevent Windows 10 from automatically downloading and installing updates. By following these steps: 1. Use the Windows key + R keyboard shortcut to open the Run command. 2.Type gpedit.msc and click OK to open the Local Group Policy Editor. 3.Browse the following path: Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\W...
