Ad free Utorrent for free ?


Utorrent and its identical client BitTorrent are the most popular app to download torrent files onto your PC! Both are available for free, however, the free version can get annoying to have large ads occupying portions of your screen.
There is a way you could make those ads disappear and enjoy an ad-less experience for free! These can be disabled in the advanced settings of the app.
To turn off ads and offers, open Options > Preferences > Advanced. Here you'll find a large list of flags for the app and a filter box. Search for and disable the following flags:
  • offers.left_rail_offer_enabled/left_rail_offer
  • gui.show_plus_upsell
  • offers.sponsored_torrent_offer_enabled/sponsored_torrent_offer_enabled
  • bt.enable_pulse
  • gui.show_notorrents_node
  • offers.content_offer_autoexec
Disabling these options should make your life as a torrent user a whole lot more easier !
