Star Trek Re-Discovered !

I will admit I am a sci-fi fanboy. Most of the series which I tend to enjoy fall into the sci-fi category. Be it Star Trek, Star Wars or Doctor Who. Like every other fanboy, I lost my shit when I heard that Star Trek will be brought back to the television (its rightful home) by CBS.
And return to home it did. The show is kind of a prequel to recent movies in the Star Trek series. It is based on a timeline way before Mr Spock came into existence. I have just finished watching the pilot episode and I will have to admit the start got me a little nervous. They start off by showing a Klingon leader giving some sort of a speech and are cut off by our leads Captain Georgiou and her lead commander Michael Burnham being chased and they beamed onto USS Shenzhou. The episode found its stride once we enter the ship. The story revolves around the crew discovering something unusual in the debris. Captain Burnham is sent to examine the object, which later turns out to be a Klingon ship. The episode deals with the collision of two ideology of the Captain who wants to talk and the Commander according to whom shooting the pants off those Klingons is the right option. The story cleverly puts the viewers into a dilemma, where we have to pick a side. Giving us reason to invest in the story. To finish off I would like to mention a few things, the CGI was above and beyond of what you will find on other Television shows like the Flash. I would say it could even rival game of thrones. The aliens looked really convincing! The cast was well casted, I like Commander Burnham and would admit to taking her side throughout the episode. To conclude, Star trek discovery is a solid return to television for the franchise! Now one can only hope that the next episodes keep up and even exceed what we have seen in the pilot.

Windows 10 has the feature of automatically updating your device in such a way that you will not even notice when the update occurred. However, there are times when this seamless feature gets annoying when it seamlessly updates during a game or when you are doing a presentation! Causing reboots or data being lost during the game. What if there was a way to stop those random reboots? Well, there is if you are running Windows 10 Pro or higher.
