Don't just Re-install, Reset !

Have you used Windows 10? And the new apps dubbed "Universal Apps" which it offers ?
If you have, then chances are your have come across some problems. Recently I suffered from a problem in Groove.
Groove is my preferred music player and not only that I have even subscribed to the groove pass. So when the app blanked out on me, with all of my music libraries suddenly vanishing into thin air. I got worried. Thinking what might have happened and how to fix it. The only way out seemed to be re-installing Windows!
Luckily just when I was about to lose hope, a solution came to me. So, while messing with the settings app in frustration I found a way to reset specific apps. And in this lengthy and boring post, I am gonna show you guys (my tiny reader base) how to do that. So let's start:
  1. First Open the settings app and go to Apps settings.
  2. Now in the Apps an Features section search for the App you want to reset.
  3. Select the advanced option
  4. Now all you have to do is press the reset button and Viola ! Your App should be as good as new!

Precision for all!

The problem that has plagued Windows laptops since the dawn of time can now be solved! Have you ever bought an expensive new Windows laptop and thought, "man the trackpad sucks!". To do that go to the device manager and check the mice and input device. Here you will find what drivers your laptop came with. Now download the drivers Synaptics or Elan . Lets Install! Unzip the downloaded drivers to a temporary directory and make a note of where they are. Right-click on Start. Choose Device Manager . Double-click Mice and other pointing devices . Right-click on Synaptics/Elan device. Choose Update driver . Click Browse my computer for driver soft ware. Select Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer. Pick Have D...

Flagships no longer required?

The last time I used a flagship phone, was way back in 2013 and it was the Galaxy S4. The Exynos variant to be exact, back in 2013 Exynos was not cool. It was miles behind its Snapdragon counterpart and it was visible. My experience with the S4 was horrible. So horrible, that in fact, I haven't had the courage to purchase another Flagship since then on. After that, I switched boat and jumped to the WindowsPhone clad. My first taste of WindowsPhone was from a Lumia 520. The cheapest WindowsPhone! But, the performance at times was better than my less than a year old flagship Galaxy. WindowsPhone was fluid even on extreme budget hardware. Later on, I upgraded to a Lumia 730, which to date I adore. It is for me the best phone ever! The only place where it lacked would be the storage. Then I jumped shipped again to Android and am now using a Redmi 4x. So the point behind me going through my phone purchasing history is to show, that you do not need to break the bank or sel...
