I switched to the green side

I am a hardcore OneNote user, but the complex and clunky and unintuitive Android app for OneNote has forced me to look elsewhere in search for a new digital notebook.

And I will have to admit, I am quite impressed with the EverNote App for Android. It seems to be created to be used on small screens. Which is great for me, because I love compact phones and use one.

In terms of feature both seem to be on equal footing. Like OneNote, EverNote allows me to create notebooks and then tag each note to a specific category. The tagging feature seems really useful and should help me to be better organized! And if that was not enough, EverNote, like it's counterpart, gives its users plenty of text formatting option.

However, it is not all glory. EverNote, unlike OneNote, is a freemium App. That means extra features will be made available to the user if the user decides to pay a subscription fee. The free model is really limiting. As it only allows the user to only upload 60mb of notes into EverNote per month and the free users would also need to be connected to the internet to have access to their notes.

In a world, where OneNote exists and even provides superior features than EverNote on other platforms like Windows. It seems to be an act of suicide for EverNote to limit the users of basic requirements in a note taking App, in the hope of earning more money. As OneNote provides all of its services at a convenient price of 0.

Ducktales WOO-OO!

30 years! Is the time that the world has survived without a new episode of Ducktales! But, all that is history now. As Ducktales makes its triumphant return to Television on Disney XD. The new series follows in the footsteps of its predecessor and gives us a look into the exploits of the richest duck in the world Scrooge McDuck! Portrayed fabulously by David Tennant. Like the old series, the reboot also focuses on the adventure seeking Scrooge and his nephews. All the member of the voice cast nail their roles and adding to that, has been the interesting storyline! So far we have seen the McDuck family go to the Atlantis, learn about the value of money and take a visit to Funzos. The only griper which I have with the show would be the animation, but, I have gotten used to it. The colours are a little too vibrant for me. Even though the show is for children, it still attracts viewers like me, this showcases the power of nostalgia. To conclude I must say, that the reboot could have ...

Take updates into your own hand !

Windows 10 has the feature of automatically updating your device in such a way that you will not even notice when the update occurred. What if there was a way to stop those random reboots? Well, there is if you are running Windows 10 Pro or higher. How to prevent automatic updates using the Local Group Policy Editor : If you run Windows 10 Professional, you can use the Local Group Policy Editor to quickly change the settings to prevent Windows 10 from automatically downloading and installing updates.
