Stranger Things 2 Review

The Duffer Brothers are back with another dose of nostalgia for us. Only this time they have gotten better. Stranger Things season 2 is a major improvement over the previous season! And I love it! But, it is not perfect. That is why I have written this review.

Let's talk about the good first and there is plenty of it. The strongest point of the whole show is the cast, and it is showcased to its best. Everybody brought their A game to the game and it showed. Even the new Characters like Mad Max and Bob were terrific! I would have loved to see more of Bob. He was the light in the dark Byers household. He was a proper geek and a delightful person. He is my the favourite character on the show. Old favourites like Hopper are also here and better than ever. I loved how Hopper goes all in on Indiana Jones while investigating.

I used to think of Will as the weak link among the child actors, but he proved me wrong. Max is a great addition to the AV gang and adds more girl power to the series. But, the character which took me by surprise was Steve. The actor brilliantly turns his asshole character from last season to this fun and cool and caring guy. I will not spoil the amusement for you. The chemistry between Steve and Dustin is also something to watch out for.

The narrative has improved significantly over the last season. We see the group spread into little teams for their own side mission throughout the season, only to get back together at the perfect time in the perfect. Unlike last season, this time the story picks up steam early of into the season. Episode 3 to be exact. There is also a lot of character building throughout the season.

However, all is not perfect. El or Eleven played a minor role this time around and was sidelined for the major part of the season. They tried to give El more character and dove deep into her roots. The attempt was a bad one. Especially episode seven. The episode's sole purpose was to add more context to the character of El. It failed miserably and took me out of the tone of the season. Another thing which nagged me throughout season 2 was the whole Barbara fiasco. It felt tacked on and unnecessary.

Overall, season 2 was a strong step in the right direction and showcased that Stranger things is not a one trick pony. And has got me eagerly waiting for the next season. I would suggest you give it a watch, a binge watch, and trust me you will not be disappointed.

King Arhur the legend of misfortune !

King Arthur the legend of the sword: Before it was slaughtered by the critics', this was supposed to be an origin story for our hero Arthur portrayed brilliantly by Charlie Hunnam and is directed by the Sherlock Holmes Director Guy Richie. Richie tries his best to tell the story which has been told by several others before him in a new and interesting way. To his credit, he even achieves that to some extent. The movie tells the story of Arthur son of Uther, who is raised in a brothel and has grown up to be a thug of some sorts. Later on, he discovers he is the true king. A reality which he is not willing to admit. The movie feels unusually grounded, even though it is filled with mages and giant Elephant and an Octopus lady. Guy Richie gives the viewer reason to care for our protagonist and even creates a good antagonist in Jude Law. Jude Law plays the uncle of Arthur and the killer of his father. The build-up to the big fight is gripping and the supporting cast is stellar.

KG please don't make me go through this again F!

Hello readers, I have been down and out for what? A year maybe. But, fear not I am back again and will again claim to publish new blogs frequently! So, I for some reason decided to try a film of the Kannnada language. That film was called KGF. The film is about a rebel who is born into poverty with only his mother (whom he loses early in the movie.). The movie is the first part of the two parted series. The sequel will release sometime I don’t know when. Now, let’s talk about the movie. The film fails to live up to the hype big time! The pressure from the society is what drove me into watching this “masterpiece”, only to find the same old Indian movie formula baked again with different actors. The story has been told several time, it is by no means new. Furthermore, the direction is poor and jarring at best. The action scenes are age old, hero making goons float with one punch, the acting is loud and tone deaf. The side characters have no layer, no motive. The villain is t
