Play YouTube in background on Android

Play YouTube in the background on Android

Let's be honest we all use YouTube to listen to music. And more than often we have the urge to leave the app and continue with our lives while listening to music. But, for that, you have to shell out cash on YouTube red right?

Wrong! There are plenty of ways in which you can listen to YouTube while being in other apps. However, all of them require a browser.

This is the method which I use. It involves using the Firefox browser and installing a little extension. And walla you can now play YouTube in the background. The extension is called background video play fix.Go to the link and install the addon on your firefox browser from your phone!

This option is the one which most of you are going to use. Because it's done through chrome and other chromium browsers. All you have to do is go to YouTube in Chrome and start a song. Then go to the options and tick the request for the desktop site. All you have to do now is leave chrome and unpause your music!

There are plenty of other ways, but these two are the most practical and useful. I hope this will help you to make your life just a little bit easier.
